1. What is an escape room?
An escape room is an immersive experience where you are locked in a room full of puzzles to solve and you have 60 minutes to break out.
2. Is it safe?
Yes. There are employees in the facility with you while you play so that, in the case of an emergency, everyone participating will be safe.
3. How much does it cost?
Our prices start at $40 per person, with a discount for teams of 5 players or more.
2-4 players | 5-8 players | |
Monday-Friday | $40pp | $35pp |
Saturday-Sunday | $45pp | $40pp |
Public Holiday | $50pp | $45pp |
Children aged 7 or younger can play for free. However, due to the difficulty level, the game is not recommended for small children. The minimum booking cost is the price of 2 adults.
4. Do I need to book?
While we do try to accommodate walk-in bookings, it’s best if you book in advance to avoid disappointment. If you want to play, a deposit is required when bookings are made, this secures your time slot with us.
5. Is there parking?
There is street parking on Kiewa or Hume Street, please make sure to find a park with greater than 2 hour parking.
6. What if we get stuck on a puzzle?
There are game masters who will facilitate the game with you and can provide clues if you become stuck or ask help. There is no limit to how many clues you can receive.
7. How many people can play?
Baker Street Mystery, The Heist, and Christmas Calamity can run with 2 – 8 people, so bring along family and friends!
The Time Machine is a smaller room and only fits 4 people, so it’s great for small groups!
8. I’m not sure how many people will be on my team, what should I do?
Make your booking for the minimum number of people who will be playing. Any extra players you add to your team can pay on the day.
9. Is there an age limit?
Whilst we do allow children to play, the puzzles are hard and are aimed toward people aged at least 16. Baker Street Mystery can be modified for a junior audience at prior request.
Anyone aged 16 or under must have an adult present, either in the room, or waiting in our reception area.
10. Is there wheelchair access?
Unfortunately there is no ramp, but we may be able to assist some people. There is one stair at the front door of the building and there are some puzzles which those in a wheelchair may not be able to participate in.
11. How long does the whole experience take?
Allow 90 minutes for the total experience. The game runs for an hour, with a ten minute pre-game briefing session. We ask all players to arrive 15 minutes prior to their start times.
12. Are there any strobe lights in your rooms?
There are no strobe lights; however, one of our rooms does have a light which flickers occasionally.
13. What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. Closed-in shoes are recommended but not compulsory.
14. Can I take pictures?
We ask that you don’t take any electronics into the room to help fully immerse yourself, and to ensure the room isn’t spoiled for future participants. Our game masters can take a photo of your group at the end of the game.
15. Do you sell gift vouchers?
We do! Gift cards can be purchased online. Alternatively, you can visit us in-store or call during business hours.
